About Me
Hi! I’m Corie and welcome to Rock Rembrandt.
I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 4 (soon to be 5!). My husband and I call a small town in Northern Oklahoma home. We also have two spoiled Corgis. This crew keeps me on my toes. We have very busy lives (you probably do too) and we are often running in different directions.
I have always had a passion for creating and making art. I stumbled upon our local Facebook group for painting and hiding rocks. I was hooked! Rock painting is fun, easy, and something the whole family can do together.
It doesn’t take much time to make a rock masterpiece, which fits right in with our crazy, scheduled lives. My kids and grandkids love painting rocks and trying other mediums to decorate their rocks. We get to go on adventures hiding rocks around town and discovering the rocks that other people have left for us to find.
That’s enough about me. Let’s talk about why you are here. My goal with this blog is to provide inspiration to those who think they can’t. I believe that there is an artist in everyone. You don’t have to be a master painter to be a Rock Rembrandt. You just need some simple supplies and encouragement.
After all, we are not just creating some pretty rocks, we are creating memories.
